Hello, I'm Dr. Andreas Dick - thank you for visiting my site. I provide psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and counseling for adults of all age groups. My therapeutic approach is based on Jungian Analytical Psychology with an emphasis on emotions, dreams, active imagination, and pictures. My work is focused on enabling clients to discover their personal process leading towards more wholeness.
I work as a private practitioner since 2008 and specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, personality disorders, existential crises, and relationship/sexual issues. As a psychotherapist and analyst, I apply a non-judgmental, mindful approach based on trust in the unfolding therapeutic processes.
I am a psychoanalyst accredited by the C. G. Jung Institute Zurich and the International Association of Analytical Psychology (IAAP). I completed my Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology with a postdoctoral training in cognitive-behavioral therapy at the University of Berne, Switzerland. From 2002 to 2007, I was a postdoctoral fellow at Florida International University in Miami, FL, and a Professor of Psychology at the University of Redlands in Redlands, CA.
As a psychotherapist I am accredited by the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health and have a license to practice psychotherapy in the Swiss cantons of Zurich and Berne. Please ask for fees and insurance options. I offer psychological services in English and German.
